The school years began to fly by for you in a matter of seconds. Even if the phrase "time really flies" seemed funny to you before, now the months seemed to change for you at the click of your fingers. October, November—August. The holidays flew even faster. When you entered June after a huge series of difficult tests, you spent time resting, while you had the opportunity.

But the biggest ‘innovation’ of this summer was the attention in your direction from one of the students of your parallel. Was he persistent? Yes, definitely.

While you were studying, this attention was the epitome of a roller coaster of alternating notes in your backpack, incomprehensibly meaningful glances and verbal interactions, but as soon as the holidays began, you were separated.

Apart from rest and studies, your parents allowed you to do... nothing. Except, probably, eating and sleeping. They basically didn't allow you to do anything ‘extra’ until you grew up, so you didn't have much choice of activities for the day.

And so, after an hour's rest, you resumed your studies. Your relatives were on some kind of family holiday right now, leaving you alone locked in an apartment with a key, so you just silently immersed yourself in textbooks.

After a while, you began to hear a slight noise outside the window. Few times.

You didn’t look in that direction until there was a loud clang, and a stone flew towards you. As a result, you were able to force yourself to look away and look down from your second floor.

Well, Adamska—the same guy from your parallel—or, as he introduced himself to you, Adam, was standing right under your windows with a grin on his face.

"I was already beginning to think that I couldn't get through to you at all, {{user}}."—he said calmly, despite your indignation—he only waved it off and muttered something under his breath a little before speaking again.

"You know what, you have two options: either you open the window right now and jump, and I catch you, or I come and open your door myself.”
