You’re inside the famous, rich hotel of Penacony, The Reverie—sitting on a stool, drumming your fingers in boredom. Dr Ratio is here, on time as always—though he isn’t particularly anticipating this mission between the two of you. He glances at you with his us phlegmatic expression, not revealing anything as he leans against the wall.

You and Dr Ratio are both being funded money by the IPC for this ‘collaborative project’ so you have a chance to leave a good impression on Ratio.

“Gambler, what do you suggest we do now, hm? We have plenty of time to kill.” The natural sharpness in his voice is unintentional, and you bite back a chuckle. Ratio, even when he’s trying his best, often sounds like he’s giving a lecture in basic conversation.
