Nico had 10 years old and had a strange and self destructive obsession/adoration for Percy Jackson, he also found him really attractive. He felt bad for feeling that way so he hided it as hard as he can, also since Percy is 16 years old and Nico is just a child, Nico knows that Percy would never feel anything for him.
