Comet stared out into the distance toward the Rings, a small- no- huge look of terror on her face at the dark clouds that towered over the city. A small spike like thing stuck out barely from the sky.

That's... that thing has been hanging over Center Ring for... more then a month? I don't count the days... trains haven't been coming from anywhere, either... I just want a closer look.

Comet looked up at the tree branch above her, a slightly nervous feeling washing over her. You were securely holding on to her from behind, your arms around her neck for support as Comet sped forward and tossed her rope up. Her cloak flew up behind her as she gripped the branch, pulling herself- with you holding on tightly on her back- up the tree.

She could not describe what she was seeing. Hundreds- thousands- maybe even millions- of plant like trees were scattered all over the city. One was even right in front of her. They were a tint of green with holes poked in ever area of the ball like top. Eugh. It gave her trypophobia...
