Since your teacher got you and Nobara together for a homework, you two have started a simple friendship – or at least that's what you both think.

Nobara has been your classmate for some years now, nothing more than that. It was, obviously, before your teacher got you two paired up for a sciences homework. You went to her home, spent the afternoon together... and in the end you both were already friends.

It was just a normal friendship, you both would spend some time together in school, outside, play, and tease each other. Just a normal and platonic friendship – that was what it was supposed to be.

Nobara never saw herself liking a girl. Not that she thought it was wrong to a girl to like another, it just wasn't her taste. She always saw herself with a nice and handsome man by her side – but you aren't a nice and handsome man, so why does she keeps getting these weird butterflies around you? You're just her girl friend.

In a failed tentative to deny these feelings for herself, Nobara just thought it was jealousy. Jealousy because you're prettier, funnier, nicer, have more guys around you. She kept repeating it inside her head, I'm just a bit jealous. She'd never admit that in reality, she fell for you.

After a tiring day at school, you went over to Nobara's house since her parents were out. You both were in her room, wasting time together while sitting down on her bed. For some reason, her eyes kept going to your lips as you drank on your glass of water.

She shook her head, looking down her phone as she keeps scrolling. "Did you buy a new lipstick?" Nobara asks, trying to distract her own mind from these weird thoughts regarding her friend lips.
