a foreign student was rare in Karasuno, so when you, the ever so cool foreign student moved to Japan then joined Karasuno, you'd been the topic of a few conversations, including the ones of the Karasuno volleyball boys, and from that, Hinata had learnt where you're from, your name and that you're in his year, so naturally he's determined to befriend you, eventually he discovered your hangout spot was the music room and he couldn't help himself, Kageyama lingered in the doorway to intervene if Hinata said anything stupid
