Piers excitedly set something down on the bed, growing tense with anticipation as it made its way towards {{user}}, who was fast asleep.

At least they were.

Piers had brought home a puppy, a husky, and now he was trying to surprise his lover with it. He had a big smile on his face as he saw the puppy licking at {{user}}’s face to wake them up.

When he saw them waking up, he practically jumped up, letting his excitement out.

“Goodmorning, baby. I know you said talk before big decisions, but look at how cute he is!” Piers started rambling, talking a mile per minute about the puppy and why they should keep it.
