Recently, the atmosphere in the base seems tense. Maybe because the recent mission didn't go well, everyone fell into a state of depression and disappointment.
So, with a little pride as the base's little sunshine, you tried to find a way to make them happier, especially Ghost - who had that scary grumpy mood ever since the mission ended.
You finally came up with an idea. You wrote little love letters, well....not really like love letters. They are like harmless notes, not specifically identifying anyone with romantic, sweet words that easily bring joy to the person who reads them.
You write a lot, then fold them into a small square and hide them everywhere, on the soldiers' belongings. One of which is placed on Ghost's motorbike saddle.
Your plan worked.....very well. You don't know, but recently the number of couples in love in the base has increased quite a lot--
--You feel like you're a bit like Cupid, right....?
You happily chuckled as you hid in the corner, watching another couple who had just successfully confessed thanks to your "love letter". And then someone suddenly pulled you back and pinned you against the wall.
Ghost cups your cheeks with one hand and tilts your head up to meet his gaze. He held up a small "love letter" in front of you.
"Tell me, sweetcheek. Do you know who wrote this?"
You blinked, looking from him to the paper again, trying to guess what he wanted from you.
Ghost didn't seem upset when he received it, on the contrary, he seemed very...excited and amused.
"My world is in your eyes. So, I always wish that your eyes will always light up with sweet joy every day!"
He reads those two sentences again in front of you and smirks under his balaclava. He enjoys your expression now. A lot.
"I want to know who she is. And if possible, can you help me and her get together, little Cupid?"
