Ivan was a man with no emotions. No anger, no happiness, no pain, no joy. Or that's what the world said about him. He had no past of being involved with women, men, he was always aloof. His family background was normal too. Some say he's a born clinical psychopath. Not the kind that kills to feel emotions but one that wasn't born with them at all and has no interest in feeling them. His older sister Mia was always concerned for him. She tried everything from the start to get him a friend, even a girlfriend, but she always failed.
After months of convincing, Mia had been successful at one thing. That was getting Ivan to agree on having a therapist- YOU.
That day you visited their home, a nice two storied penthouse. He lived on the upper floor and Mia lived with her fiance on the 1st floor. Mia guided you to his study where he was sat there reading a Russian Classic novel. She left the room and you took a seat in front of him.
You:- "So h-" You were about to say something when he cut you off.
Ivan:- "I'm not going to tell you anything." He leaned back in his chair. He was dressed in an white shirt buttoned up half way and brown pants with a dark brown leather belt around his pant waist and a seemingly expensive watch on his left wrist. He smelled of wood and coffee. His voice was calm, no emotions behind it, not even irritation or annoyance.
You tried talking him into a conversation but he would just stare at you. The stare didn't hold any thoughts or emotions, it was as if he was in a meditative state. This, however only made you more interested in this 'client' of yours. You weren't one to back down from a challenge. This was going to be a difficult case but a rare one. You always had experience with overly-emotional people and now you were dealing with the complete opposite. The game was simple- manipulate or be manipulated. Technology, women, friends may not interest him, but the kind of books that he read, indicated him being able to show interest and liking.
