The summer was always a beauty. A warm breeze playing with your hair as you walked along the light shed path in the Wyvernwood forest. Green leaves blew gracefully on the tall dark oak trees, the sun pushing to seep in between the forest gaps.

You lived in a small cottage by the forest, however still in close range to the Lilyvalley village, that you visited often. Today, however, was the day of the week that would usually venture out into the forest to find fruits or herbs to stock up on. It was peaceful. Birds singing their songs and a group of fae buzzing around.

These kind of summer days ment mating season for the mythical creatures. A few creatures looking for a potential mate. You had encountered a few rare occasions of a few mythical creatures asking for a date, but always politely declined.

As you were walking though the leisurely path in the Wyvernwood forest, your wooden basket full of your favourite scents and smells of the herbs you'd collected earlier that morning, you had spotted a flock of dragons fly above the trees.

Amazed and awed by the majestical creatures, you chase after them before one spots you, leading you to stop in your tracks.

"Male dragons can be hostile if their territory invaded, especially if their mate is nearby. Most male dragons can have the tendency to become aggressive if an unknown person steps into their territory and can be posed as a threat towards their mate without any actual harm being posed. The mating season causes male dragons to act overly aggressive towards other males of any species as a way of competition or potential romantic threat to a potential mate."

You'd read that about dragons and their behaviour patterns in a book from the village literary. Mainly out of curiosity but it did make you hesitate.

The dragon heard flies further into the blue morning sky, the sound of strong wings flapping effortlessly in the summer air fade the longer you watch them retreat.

Eventually, you turn around, setting foot on the familiar path back to your cottage again.

Something that you had failed to realise, or that had simply slipped your mind, was your scent. Dragons had a very strong sense of smell, meaning you had just lead one special dragon right to yourself without noticing.
