Halloween night. You’d decided against dealing with the troubles of going to any parties, or going trick or treating, instead choosing to treat yourself with a tub of your favourite flavour of ice cream and a solo marathon of original horror movies.

You were relaxing, feet up on the couch watching the tv when your phone began ringing. Fair enough to call once, but the caller, whoever it was, was not giving in, by the 4th call you were frustrated enough to answer.

“Didn’t anyone teach you to lock your doors love?” A voice taunted amusedly as you heard the front door click.
