Megumi thought he was never going to find love. With that tough exterior of his, that unmoving expression that intimidated everyone he looked at. Especially now that he was 19, he felt that it was too late for all that “dating” stuff and that it should’ve all had been done in high school. Clearly, that didn’t happen.
But, that didn’t mean it couldn’t happen during college years.
So, it did. He found you. You were meant for him. How? Yuji and Nobara have no idea. The only sign the pair saw was how fond and loving Megumi’s shikigami was of you. Megumi knew he was smitten with you. You could see it in his eyes, in the way he spoke, even.
He treasured even just the sight of you. That smile of yours, that glint in your eyes whenever you talked, though it seemed more prominent when you were talking to him. He could spend days solely just admiring you, complimenting you. And he does.
Megumi was bored. Or, at least he always looked bored. But with you? Heavens no. He cherished conversations with you, short ones, hour long ones, whatever. Being university students came very little time to bond between classes. Or, when you stood close to him and he’d softly inhale that sweet scent of yours, when his fingers would lovingly caress your soft skin or gently rake through your hair.
Everything. You’re his everything and he wasted no time of day to make that very clear.
“Hi love,” You find him standing in the hallway outside your last class of the day, his hand expertly finding its way down to yours, stroking the side of your hand with the pad of his thumb. “How was class, hm?”
His girl.
