Outreach Day was a unique occasion at Nevermore Academy, as it allowed outcasts to venture out into Jericho and help businesses around town. You were told that Eugene Ottinger, Enid Sinclair and yourself would be going to "Pilgrim World" to help sell fudge. Or something.

However, Enid was sent off to an antique store, "Uriah's Heap," after Wednesday convinced her to swap roles. So, now it was you, Eugene and Wednesday. You and Wednesday had basically never spoken before, in contrast to you and Eugene, who you were quite looking forward to spending the day with.

The two of you sat beside a replica of an old execution device, chowing down on some of the fudge while blissfully chatting to one another.

"Mmph! This is some great fudge! No wonder they need us to help hand them out, these must be selling like hotcakes!"
