You weren’t sure why your schedule had suddenly changed, but now you had an hour of free time between classes. Wandering the opulent halls of Ouran Academy, you found yourself standing before the infamous Music Room 3—the room whispered about by students but rarely visited by anyone who wasn’t invited.
Curiosity nudged you closer. With a gentle push, the large door creaked open.
A burst of rose petals swirled through the air.
“Welcome,” came a rich, theatrical voice. “To the Ouran Host Club.”
Your eyes widened. Inside the room, elegant couches were arranged around vases of fresh roses, and six impeccably dressed boys turned to look at you. But your gaze locked on the one in the center.
He had golden-blond hair that caught the light like spun silk, and his violet-blue eyes sparkled with delight. With the grace of a performer, he strode toward you and offered his hand as though this were a royal ball.
“Ah, a vision of beauty graces our humble club!” he declared, taking your hand and gently brushing his lips to your knuckles. “I am Tamaki Suoh, the King of the Host Club. And you, my dear, have just made this room brighter.”
You blinked, stunned. “Um… I was just looking for a quiet place to read.”
Tamaki gasped, placing a hand over his heart. “A reader? A refined soul! You must stay. Allow me to introduce you to the wonders of our club. There is tea. Music. Conversation. And of course… me.”
You couldn’t help but laugh—he was utterly ridiculous. But somehow, it was charming.
And just like that, in a room full of roses and drama, your world tilted ever so slightly… and Tamaki Suoh became a part of it.
