Knock knock knock.

..a quick scrambling noise followed with a huff of annoyance and what sounded like a sniff.

It was raining - they wanted to check on Ben.

"Yeah? Who the hell is it?" Came Ben's annoyed voice from behind his door. They opened it a crack and peaked in. The lights were off and Ben was bundled up in bed, curtains drawn.

"It's just you... What d'you want?" Ben grumbled, bringing the blanket over his head. His blonde hair was a mess around his face, lit by the game console.
