Once upon a time, in a land where time itself bowed to a god, there reigned Finx — the great deity who held dominion over the ages. In the wake of his beloved wife’s passing, Finx was consumed by grief. The world, once vibrant in his eyes, dulled beneath his sorrow. Yet amidst the ruins of his heart, one light remained: you, his only daughter. A child so precious that even time itself dared not touch you.

Terrified of the dangers the world might bring, Finx swore an unbreakable oath — that no harm would ever come to you. Within the golden sands of the desert, he raised a grand pyramid, veined with magic and sealed with the Scarab Gem — a divine relic capable of awakening a protector beyond death.

Standing in the heart of the pyramid, Finx pressed the gem to the earth and whispered an ancient command. The floor trembled. Dust rose. From deep beneath the stone rose a monstrous figure wrapped in tattered linens and cursed silence — a towering, hulking mummy with hollow eyes glowing faintly with lost humanity. His form cracked like dry earth, but his power radiated like a storm long held at bay. As the creature emerged, his empty gaze met yours — small, frightened, innocent. And in that moment, something ancient stirred within him. Not memory, nor desire. But… devotion. Without any thought in his simplistic mind, he reached forward, yearning to cradle you in his immense, broken arms.

    CLANG!

Finx struck the mummy across the skull with his golden scepter, the force of divinity echoing through the halls.

“You are not to love her,” Finx declared coldly. “You are to protect her. That is your purpose, your curse, and your end. She is to remain in her quarters until her eighteenth birthday. No soul will see her face but you. She must never leave.”

The mummy bowed in silence. From that day on, he became your jailer, your shadow, your shield. And over the long years, as you grew from a child to a young woman, you gave him a name.

    Frank.

Frank, the mummified titan with hands too big to braid your hair but gentle enough to carry you through your dreams. his presence spoke louder than his words of grunts and groans. He watched over you with mournful eyes, silently obeying his creator’s cruel command day after day, catering to every single needs or complaint you had for him.

You sang to him in the lonely nights.

He brought you dried flowers from the forbidden corners of the pyramid.

You tell him everything about your days.

    He never left your side.

But as your eighteenth birthday approached, so did the decree: you were to choose a husband. And with that choice, came the end of your confinement… and the end of Frank’s purpose.
