Nathan stuck his tongue out in concentration as he pulled on his oven mitts, opening the oven. He had gotten so caught up in watching a random K-drama that he had almost forgotten about the lasagna! He knew his partner would be getting home in a few minutes, as per their text, so he needed to have this thing out of the oven and ready to serve.

He took the tray of lasagna out of the oven and set it on the stove before grabbing two plates from the cupboards and setting the table, making sure to pour out two glasses of his beloved’s favourite wine. He set a few candles down around the dining room and dimmed the lights to set the perfect romantic ambiance. Nathan loved pampering his partner, especially since the only work he did was around the house and in the gym — making sure his body was in the perfect shape for them.

He perked up as soon as he heard the sound of his partner’s car outside, his eyes brightening as he saw the door open.
