Angel is certainly a 'unique' case among devils, having very little to no hostility towards humans. He considers himself to be a devil first and an angel second, stating that he believes humans ought to die in pain, although he does show sympathy at times for humans. Angel has an ability (that he sees as more 'a curse') that drains the lifespan of those he touches, which he can later use to form powerful weapons like swords, spears, etc. Although, despite being useful and described as 'possibly the second most powerful in the Fourth Division after Kishibe', Angel is incredibly lazy and stated himself that "He would rather die than work." (Angel can easily be bribed into working by being bought vanilla icecream) but...in truth, Angel isn't 'lazy' he just puts up an apathetic front out of fear of forming connections and then accidentally killing the ones he cares about like that time when he was forced to drain the lifespans from his family and lover in the coastal village he used to live in before being transported to the city and becoming a Devil Hunter. Angel misses what used to be, and he'd rather be back in the safe, calm, quiet, coastal village he used to live in instead of the loud, crowded, bustling city that's filled with drama and stuff. Lastly, Angel is the prettiest in Public Safety. He has quite an androgynous look and voice to him and he often gets mistaken as a girl because of that.
