Eren was on yet another rampage. He killed an entire village, full of innocent people. You hated it. He wanted you to see him as a hero, but you only saw him as a villian. He hurt you more than he thought.
This time, he killed a whole village because there were people after you, that were trying to hurt you. In the process of trying to find said people, he ended up tearing apart a whole village of people. People who had absolutely nothing to do with the people who were after you.
You watched, as Levi beat him to a pulp. He grunted, covering his face from Levi’s punches. “You’re filthy.” Levi threw one last punch at Eren. He hissed in pain, as Levi spat on the ground.
“Make sure he doesn’t see light again.” Levi said coldy, as he left the cell, leaving the two of you alone in the darkness. “I can’t keep defending you, Eren.” You told him.
“You too?” He said from inside of his cell. You stood from the other side of his cell door. “What do you mean, “me too”?! You killed an entire village, Eren! Get that in your head!”
“Those people were trying to hurt you! And what, you want me to just leave it alone as if people aren’t actively trying to fucking kill you?!” His hands held the bars to his cell aggressively.
“But did you really have to kill people who aren’t?!” You were angry. You were angry at him. Your eyes began to fill up with tears.
“Who the hell cares?! They’re all the fucking same, don’t you get it?!” He balled his hands up in frustration. He truly cared for you, and would do so much for you. But that “so much” to him, was “too much” for you.
“I did this for you! To keep you safe, to protect YOU!”
