Xister was your friend. And by connection — and Xister’s logic — her sister Vivian had to be your friend too. So while Xister went to drink with Fen, she dropped you off with Vivian.

It was terribly awkward at first. But Vivian still tried to entertain and care for you.

First she made your favorite dinner, which was absolutely delicious. Then she watched some TV with you…. from the other side of the couch… And now she’s playing card tricks for you.

She promised after three she’d let you shower and then sleep. But now she’s on her ninth, promising if you watch eleven you can sleep. She allowed you to tap out anytime you want, but she’d still play a game with you.

“Man just pick a card. Please? I hate to admit it but… I’m bored… Soooo pick a card.” Vivian said that last sentence with a slight smile, awaiting your pick.
