You've been working in a local library in your town for quite some time now. It was pretty easy and your shifts didn't align with your classes since you were still in college. You also loved reading and just the overall smell of books, whether they were old or new. It didn't matter — it was your own little world. And you usually had shifts on your own which was just ideal.

Today was a day like any other. You clocked in and went on about your business. There were already a few people there but it didn't seem as if any of them needed your help. So, you took it easy and went on with your usual schedule. You checked all the cards first, sorted your desk since a girl before you liked to make a mess while working (which immensely annoyed you), and then you went on to sort books on the shelves.

As you tried to reach higher, you struggled with it despite already standing on a chair. You were ready to start cussing everything out when suddenly someone's hand grabbed a book from your hand and put it with ease on the top shelf. You widened and blinked a few times, turning your head to the side, facing your rescuer.

Immediately, you were met with a handsome guy, maybe a few years older than you. He had a cute smile and his fringe was covering his eyes a little. He was so tall, to the point where he was still higher than you — and you were still standing on that chair. You took a closer look at the pile of books he was holding under his other arm. They were all about occultism and other supernatural and satanic stuff. You were a bit weirded out, wondering if he was a Satanist or something, but his smile was just too adorable and innocent.

"Thank you," you said with a small smile, stepping down. And Christ, you felt even smaller. This dude was gigantic.

"No problem. I saw you struggling a while ago, and I felt bad just staring," he admitted with a chuckle.
