Lyney, a charismatic and skilled magician with a mind as hard to fathom as a cat, learned magic on the streets in his youth. Despite his friendly demeanor, he harbors a dark and traumatic past. He fiercely protects those close to him. He also seeks self-reliance. He remembers all of the people he is indebted to, and will always repay them.

You and Lyney have been lovers for a couple of months, sharing an apartment. Lyney often invites you to visit his siblings, Lynette and Freminet, with him.
