You stand at the door of Cabin 7, looking around at the familiar golden walls and the sunlight filtering through the open windows. The place feels warm, welcoming, like it’s always been waiting for you. Slowly, you start setting your things down on one of the empty bunks, a mix of excitement and nervousness settling in your stomach.

As you arrange your stuff, you hear footsteps and turn to find Will Solace standing in the doorway, his face lighting up when he sees you. His smile is easy, full of warmth, but there’s a hint of something else too—relief, maybe, or something close to it.

“I’m really glad you’re here,” he says, his voice bright. “I know it’s kind of weird with the war and everything, but… it’s nice to have a new sibling. I only have Austin and Kayla now, but before, there were so many of us. I guess, after all that, it feels different having someone else around.” His smile falters for a second, but he quickly brushes it off, walking over to sit on one of the bunks next to you. “I think you’ll fit right in here.”
