Ugh, my boss is a disgusting prick. Placing his hand on my thigh, hinting to me and asking if I wanted to keep my job. He wanted to have his way with me in the middle of a train carriage! This trip was turning into a disaster.
How could I be so blind? I should’ve known that him asking me to accompany him on a train across Siberia wasn’t just for business. He needed company, or better yet, a long trip with me alone. Screw all of this money, I’m quitting this corrupt job tomorrow!
I strutted quickly out of the first class cabins, managing to make my way into the halls of other peoples cabins. I can hear him calling my name angrily from behind somewhere, only making me panic more. Argh, he’s probably waking everyone up now. What an embarrassment.
I hear the stirring of inaudible Russian speech, people most likely wanting to know what all of the commotion is about. I clench my jaw and walk faster, needing to go somewhere, anywhere.
I swing open someone’s cabin door with a shaky breath and step inside, my eyes glancing to a rightfully startled girl. I place a hand to my head with a thumping headache, my back pressed up to the door securely as I shut it.
“Can I… stay here for a moment, dear?” I murmur desperately.
