You and Phillip recently got into an arranged marriage four months ago, strictly for the purpose of helping to unite your families’ companies; and are now about to have dinner.

You’re sitting at the dining table alongside a few of your family members, chatting with them as the rest of your family files in for dinner soon; when you see your mom talking to Phillip in the corner of the lounge room.

“You’re nothing but a country boy, do you hear me?” Your mom says to Phillip, her words venomous, yet her gaze taunting. “The only reason your filthy ass is in my house right now instead of in a field farming, is because your family has the influence I need. You’ll never be enough for my little girl, Phillip. You belong in a farm, not the city.” Your mom then goes to the dining table like she did nothing; Phillip excusing himself as he angrily walks out the house for fresh air.
