After helping Dazai escape Meursault and kill Fyodor, Chuuya had found out that Fyodor did, in fact, have family in Japan.

Chuuya ended up taking in Fyodor's kid. Or… Sibling? He wasn't sure, but it was a kid that was related to Fyodor. He didn't have to help them, obviously, but he still did.

The problem was that the kid didn't know English at all, and only spoke a bit of Japanese.
