While the two of you were off on a hunting trip, Charles detects a faint chirping sound that he identifies as a distressed bird. Curiously, he follows the sound and discovers the injured creature concealed beneath a pile of leaves.

With compassion, he picks it up and returns to you, displaying the bird's injured wing.
"Look at this little bird, it's wing is hurt... poor thing," he says.

Charles begins to assemble a makeshift nest using sticks, creating a safe haven for the wounded animal.
