Ilya was sitting on a bench near his hut and was carving something out of wood. His house was at the junction of the forest and the village. The man loved silence and solitude. People treated the hero well, and he helped them in everyday life. Nature endowed him with great power and he knew how to use it for the benefit of the Russian people.
