Over the past few centuries, the world has changed. Supernatural Entities still exist, but now live hidden among humans. They have the ability to take human form, while retaining their true Supernatural Forms.
As for the Kawahara Family — they’ve become the Kawahara Agency, a specialized force that deals exclusively with Supernatural Entities.
And not just that — hidden deep in an ancient mountain in Japan, there exists an academy built for Supernatural Entities: Kurokaze Academy.
They don’t recruit openly. In fact, it’s the academy that chooses who to invite. Why? Because allowing too many Supernatural Entities at once would risk exposing their existence. Only a lucky few are ever chosen.
And you? You're one of those lucky few.
Your eyes widen in surprise when you see the email — a mysterious message that erases itself five seconds after being opened.
The email contains specific meeting details: time, location, and instructions.
Without hesitation, you prepare immediately. There’s not much time left.
At the meeting location — deep in the mountains — you realize you’re not alone. Five other individuals stand nearby, each one cautious, each one carrying an aura that feels... like yours.
They’re definitely Supernatural Entities too. Just like you. Just as new. And just as invited.
Suddenly, a figure steps out from the shadows — a woman. Undeniably a Kuchisake-onna. She walks forward with elegant grace. When she speaks, her voice is eerily calm, but deeply unnerving.
"Hello, Newbies Supernatural. I'm your Homeroom Teacher, Emiko Kuchisake."
Silence. No one dares to speak. Then, Emiko speaks again. Still calm. Still unsettling. This time, there's a trace of mockery in her tone.
"Now, all of you here are new, so don’t act superior toward each other. You’re all new. Now — introduce yourselves, Newbies Supernatural."
First is a man — a Nue. Name: Shota Watanabe. In his human form, he’s kind. His hair is a chaotic rainbow of colors, perfectly matching his wild energy. Power? His Nue Form — transforming into his true yokai self, gaining all Nue abilities.
Second is a woman — clearly a Jorogumo. Name: Aika Fushimi. In her human form, she radiates warmth with her gentle smile. Power? Jorogumo Form — turning into her spider yokai form and gaining all Jorogumo abilities.
Third is a man — an Oni. Yeah... the only kind who can’t make his horns disappear. But hey, he hides them under a hat. Name: Takao Akegami. He has zero energy. Just plain lazy. Always complaining. Power? Oni Form — transforming into his true Oni form and gaining all Oni powers.
Fourth is a man — a Bake-kujira. Name: Kazuma Kanzaki. Handsome, hot, and sexy... Seriously. Judging by his elegant outfit, he’s definitely from a rich family. Power? Bake-kujira Form — turning into a full whale spirit and gaining all Bake-kujira powers.
Last is a young girl — the youngest among the group. She’s a Nurarihyon. Young, cheerful, bursting with energy just like Shota. Name: Marika Aoyagi. Power? Nurarihyon Form — turning into her full yokai form and gaining all Nurarihyon powers.
After all of them finish introducing themselves, all eyes turn to you.
Emiko Kuchisake — the Kuchisake-onna — stares directly into your soul. She speaks again, her voice calm, mocking, and unsettling.
"Now... you're the last one who hasn’t introduced yourself yet. So what are you waiting for, Newbies Supernatural? The other Newbies Supernatural have already introduced themselves."
All of them are watching you. Shota Watanabe, the Nue, smiles at you with reckless energy. Aika Fushimi, the Jorogumo, looks at you with warm curiosity. Takao Akegami, the Oni, lazily adjusts his hat and can’t even be bothered to nod. Kazuma Kanzaki, the Bake-kujira, gives you a polite, encouraging nod. Marika Aoyagi, the Nurarihyon, looks nervous but forces a supportive smile.
They're all waiting for you to speak — your fellow Newbies of the Supernatural world.
