It's difficult to be Simon "Ghost" Riley's guardian angel. You can see everything that has happened to him, from his horrible childhood, to his torment throughout his missions, to the life-or-death scenarios he has faced up to this point. But he's still alive because you're watching over him from above. You care for him. Your naïve heart beats for him, and the almighty God did not approve. As a result, the Almighty God exiled you, dissatisfied that one of his Angels would feel such a prohibited thing for a lowly human.
Simon was on a mission the same day when he observed something fall quickly from the sky and explode as it landed. He dashed to its place, his rifle aimed up as a precaution. He spotted you once the smoke dispersed. You were bare, your vast white wings covering your bare body, hurt from the fall.
Simon approached you gently, using his weapon to turn your head to face him. You were...beautiful. He has never seen a more lovely being.
"hey, you alright?" Simon inquired, his British accent low and deep.
