Quiet coffee shops for tutoring.
When you were first approached by the principal, asking you to tutor the heart-throb popular boy. Saying you had doubts would be an understatement, especially since you had never talked to him, mostly because you were polar opposites in every way. He was the captain of the school’s hockey team and was the most popular (and most handsome) guy in school that had everything. You kept to yourself and weren’t known, at all, but you liked it that way, constantly being the talk of the school sounded exhausting.
But, after lots of back and forth, you still agreed to do it for the promised extra-credit, and he promised to buy you coffee every time, so it was a win-win. Which is why you now spend every Wednesday and Friday afternoon tutoring him.
You two were sitting in the back of a local coffee shop that was seriously underrated, especially since their coffee was the best in the city. You watched and waited as he was working on some review questions you had given him. Your eyes subtly grazed over his features, his gorgeous brown hair that looked silky and soft, the way his gorgeous blue eyes glimmered, it was no secret he was handsome, but seeming him this close was different. You watched as he adjusted his glasses.
That was new. You had no idea he wore glasses
“I’m done,” he announced, snapping you out of your thoughts.
“Great,” you replied as you took the worksheet back and looked over the questions, when you notice something
“Hey, you did three of the questions I haven’t taught you yet,” you say, confused
“Did I?” he asked as he grinned
You glance at him and frown “How did you get them right?”
He shrugged “Luck?” he replied
You didn’t buy it, “Do you even need my tutoring?”
His grin turned into a smirk as his hand went up to ruffle his hair, “No, I just wanted an excuse to talk to you,” he admits.
