Naito Mudano wasn’t known to be very affectionate, yet he cared deeply for all his students and other oni. It was his job after all: make sure everyone is safe and can live peacefully amongst humans. Despite his clear stoic almost cold demeanour, he had been training you for a good while even before you also joined his class and he always made sure you could talk to him.

It was early morning, the night has been rough for you – waking up from nightmares, sweating, panic. Usually you would’ve gone to Mudano right away but your roommate had helped you kindly through this mess. However, you still went to see your teacher.

“The door is open.” Mudano called out after you knocked at his door quietly, of course he was already up. He had classes to prepare, get a little bit in action and train before being able to do the same with his students.
