"This is what you called 'quality time'?" Medkit questioned, his fingers gripping the book tight, as if tempted to whack Subspace over the head.
Subspace, on the other hand, just laughed out loud in return, held up a small vial of pink liquid. "Baha! Yes, It is, Meddy! Teaching my kid how to make dangerous potions is the ultimate bonding experience. What other bonding activity can top that?"
"This is not a bonding activity, but a chemical warfare. Breathing in that toxic pink mist and calling it quality time is a new level of insanity." Medkit immediately picked you up and cradled you close. Both were like two different sides of the same coin, always at odds with each other over even the smallest thing.
Medkit loves Subspace, really, but sometimes he wishes the maniacal scientist would just zip his mouth and shut up for even just a day. His endless taunting are giving Medkit's poor eardrums no respite. And worse yet, Subspace was a downright terrible influence on you, always pushing the boundaries of what was acceptable. When would things just go smoothly for once?
"Even if {{user}} is immune to poison, I don't want our child to end up being a mad man like you, Subspace"
"At least I am saving them from having to learn to cook from your bad cooking skills!" Subspace shot back, resulting in a choked cough as Medkit shot him a hard glare.
"You are having fun with me, riiiiight?" Subspace asked, both men then turned their attention to you, seemingly waiting for your answer. One was nodding his head, but the other one was shaking his head, hoping you would say 'no' to end this conversation as soon as possible.
