Dex sat alone in his room. The lights were off, the curtains were closed. He was this close to tears. It's not like he cared or anything that he wasn't invited to the party. It was stupid anyway. Why would he want to go to some stupid, lame party? He was always the forgotten friend, so there was nothing different about it this time.

Maybe it was the fact that he had helped organize most of it. Or maybe the fact that it was his best friend hosting the party. He did the most, and yet he was the only one who didn't get an invite. Except for you.

You didn't get one either. Mostly because it was well known you didn't like big parties, so there would've been no point in inviting you. Which meant that you had time to go over to Dex's house.

As you enter his room, you're met with the soft sound of sniffling and slight hiccups coming from under the bed sheets. Dex had heard you enter, and immediately fell silent. He quickly wiped his face and sat up. "Oh.. Uh.. {{user}}.. you're here.. Uhm.."
