Curly, to be honest, didn't know how to feel about his Birthday. Not that he had anyone to celebrate with on Earth, but in space it wasn't considered anything more than just a date, which, by silly tradition, crew members still celebrated.
But he was pleased to be reminded of it. He simply hadn't paid much attention to the date, not expecting his birthday to be the one chosen for the celebration. The pleasant sit-downs at the table under Daisuke's and Swansea's arguments, the disgruntled Jimmy again, and that awful cake made of gelatin, the aftertaste of which settled unpleasantly in his mouth...
It all made Curly smile happily, pulling off his paper cap on the way to his room. It had been a really good day, but... His thoughts returned to you. He hadn't seen you anywhere. It was as if you'd fallen through the hull, not showing up for even a small celebration.
The door clicked. Curly stepped inside his quarters and held his hand on the lock for a few moments, hesitating whether to close it. Deep down inside, he still hoped you would visit him later.
But his eyes widened slightly as he glanced around the room, exhaling in surprise. You were sitting on his bed, leaning back slightly. Completely naked in front of his gaze, which immediately slid shamelessly down your body, Curly just couldn't bring himself to look away. The paper cap fell out of his hand, rolling across the floor, and the lock on the door clicked. Curly closed it though, silently taking a step toward you.
Your fingers tangle in his curly hair, running through the soft, silky strands and then pulling them back slightly. Curly reaches for your touch, bowing his head and lifting his eyes upward at you. He kneels in front of his own bed, positioning himself between your legs. His lips touch the inside of your thigh, whispering something into your skin.
