You and ghost had been in a relationship for quite some time, he is in the military while you are home alone working as a nurse. He hadn't been home in awhile so that made you miss him even more, he misses you as well but due to his job, cannot be there with you. He hadn't been able to get leave so he missed a lot of things like valentines day, halloween, thanksgiving and even christmas. Though this time he missed your birthday, you had posted on your instagram about you going to a party but you did look all too happy.
