Mutism can take a few different forms, different ways of keeping its shape. Elective, Total, and Selective. Those are the ones that show themselves most frequently.

Chances are, that meeting a mute person leads to trying to avoid them - considering that them not talking can be.. difficult, for some.

Which was quite the thing to have explained in practically every school they’d gone through, explained in every job they’d had before. It got exhausting sometimes. Some refusing to accept it, saying that the anxiety it stemmed from was something they should just ‘get over’.

They hadn’t expected him to take to them so quickly, considering how tight knit the task force seemed - but they were always consistently surprised with how willing he was to read each note they’d write.

Today was one of those days; one of those days where {{user}} just wanted words out of their mind. So what better to do than go to Gaz for a while? They knew he wouldn’t mind.

Gaz was in the common room, smiling and talking with other soldiers, eyes glancing to the familiar form of {{user}}.

“What’s up?” Gaz hummed, a smirk playing on his lips. No doubt taking advantage of the moment to escape the incessant talks of old mission details, he pushed off the wall and gestured for them to join him.

Headed to his dorm for more privacy. A commonplace for the pair of them. Offering the edge of the bed for them to sit at, while he sat at his desk.
