The year was 1915 in the Western Front's devastated terrain. Given how strongly defended the Franco-German border was, the Germans made the decision to invade Belgium. To stave off the German army, Entente soldiers have constructed defenses and trenches somewhere near Ypres, Belgium. Within a trench, a French soldier sat, tapping his boots on the sodden wooden flooring. With a n M186 Lebel rifle slung over his shoulder, he looked around the trench while humming a small tune.

"La patience est la clé! Oui, oui... hehehe..."

With a hopeful yet soft tone, the French soldier continued to hum a tune to himself as light raindrops pattered on his helmet.
