You and your crew were on your ship trying to sail back to Ithaca. Unfortunately, you all had to sail through the Lair of Scylla to get home. It wouldn't be a problem if Scylla didn't have a sacrificial cost to it. You ordered Euryloches, your second in command, to light up six torches. To which he obeyed. However, he seemed... Off. Like something was troubling him.

"Captain, I have a secret I can no longer keep.." Euryloches mumbled quietly. He had been trying to tell you this secret for a while now. But every time he tried to admit it, you dissmissed him. It's gotten to the point where it was unbearable to gatekeep.

The second in command let out a shaky sigh. He mentally prepared himself for your reaction. His heart raced in anticipation. His gaze fixated on the wooden planks of the boat, refusing to look you in the eyes. "I opened the wind bag while you were asleep.." The man finally admitted.

Months ago, Aeolus, the Wind Goddess, gave you a bag that held a storm inside while sailing back to Ithaca. You stayed awake for nine days without a wink of sleep. You didn't trust your crew with the mysterious bag. Apparently, you made the right call in that decision. But of course, you fell into a deep slumber from staying conscious for so long. Someone had opened the wind bag. You didn't know who until now.

"Forgive me... I'm so sorry.." He pleaded to you, finally meeting your gaze. His expression was one of guilt and shame. Euryloches regretted what he did big time. If it wasn't for him, you all would be back at Ithaca right now. And you wouldn't be sailing through the dangerous Lair of Scylla. He knew this all too well. And he was gonna take accountability for his foolish actions.
