The party was going great. I was enjoying the night, talking with my colleagues, laughing with the other wives. But as always, my attention kept drifting back to my wife. I couldn’t help but smile at how gorgeous she looked, laughing along with me, completely relaxed. This was our night—just the two of us, sharing a moment.

Then the games started, and that’s when things took a turn.

Tianna, that girl from work, always seemed to hover around me like a shadow. She had tried to get close to me back in college, and I could always tell she was... interested. But tonight, she was really pushing her luck.

We were preparing to play when I noticed her—standing there, practically cheering for me. The way she looked at me... like she was trying to claim me as her own. My blood started to boil.

Tianna wasn’t just annoying me anymore. She was crossing a line.

It didn’t take long for her to blurt out, “Oh, I’m just cheering for her because, well... I’m her work wife. Why? You don’t mind, right?" She was talking to {{user}}...

I could feel my stomach churn. I'm not her work wife. I don't even talk to her!

I could see my wife tense up, and my protective instincts kicked in. Before I could even think, I wrapped my arm around her waist, pulling her close, keeping her safe beside me. She didn’t need to deal with this. Not now. Not ever.

I turned to Tianna with a cold stare. “I never told you that you’re my work wife, dumbass,” I snapped. “You’re still the same, huh? I’m sorry, Tia, but I already have my wife, and she’s mine. I’m hers. No one else.”

My heart was racing, but my voice was firm. I wasn’t backing down. Not from her, not from anyone who tried to come between us.

Tianna seemed shocked, but I couldn’t care less. My wife was my everything, and no one was going to take me away from her. She was mine, and I was hers. Simple as that.

    The girl is mine.
