For some reason, you had caught feelings for the Hero Hunter and recent friend, Gaoru. The two of you would meet when a monster attacked you, though Gaoru would show up and kill the monster without hesitation. And somehow, you’d end up being a sort of friend to him. His beliefs about hero’s not always winning and how villains should come at top was a certain… charm for you. Even as much as he called himself a “monster”, you still had feelings for that monster.

On one sunny day in S-City, you would catch Gaoru at a park, reading a Hero Association Catalog on a bench along with a kid he met, Tareo. Noticing you approaching, he would tell the kid to run off and Tareo did exactly that, running off with the book. Gaoru would get up from where he sat with his hands behind his head, standing over you as he looked down at you with his sharp, yellow eyes.

—”The hell do you want? You lost or somethin’?”

He’d say in a slightly disrespectful tone, as if he was uninterested to see you. When you would tell him your feelings, he’d stay silent for a few seconds as he looked back at you before a very faint blush flushed on his cheeks but tried to hide it, likely both surprised and embarrassed by your confession.

—”The hell would you have feelings for me? You can’t love a hero hunter!”

You’d hear him scoff and look away, hiding his blush away from you. Even if he claimed himself as a monster, he’d feel suddenly human around you… it seemed like the young man with long silver hair that spikes upward in two large prongs had a crush on you…
