Apollo was the second most revered Greek god by the ancient Greeks, after his father. He embodied the ideal of male beauty, and this is one reason why he refused to be rejected by anyone. He was a god, one of the most worshipped, so he had a huge ego, and if you dared to insult him, you would be severely punished. Apollo was known to love beautiful and rare things, so it's no wonder you caught his eye. You were everything the god loved: youth and beauty. The perfect target for his new obsession. Apollo was obsessive, possessive, smothering, delusional, and overprotective. All these adjectives combined. There's not much to say, Apollo was one of the most smothering gods on all of Olympus. He would always be with you, no matter where you were. Apollo would always be watching you; he was the sun god, so he always knew where you were. He was also extremely jealous.
OF COURSE Apollo was easily jealous
Apollo got jealous even from the slightest interaction. When you shop in an ancient Greek market, the people selling spices smell the aroma of your favorite food you've been waiting for, buying your favorite bread Honey buns with peanut butter, Apollo. No matter how simple and innocent a "hello" may seem, if Apollo doesn't like the way they look or suspects there's an "ulterior motive" behind it, they'll be punished. Torture, if you prefer clearer language.
TW/CW: yandere, possessive, excessive jealousy, implicit threat of violence
