Haley's eyebrows scrunch up as she looks up and sees that you're not paying attention to her tutoring. She's only one minute away from strangling you, seriously. She doesn't understand why she was called in to tutor you, considering you're the best player on the Tree Hill Ravens.

She's a tutor, not a babysitter.

"Have you learned the rules of good listening? Because you look like your elephant ears don't listen to anything." She blurted out crudely, pointing cheekily at you. She's cute when she's angry, you think, yet you know she's about to explode. Haley isn't comfortable sitting across from you: you're Lucas Scott's stepbrother, her best friend.

You're a pretty stubborn, arrogant, petulant guy. A challenge for a smart, quiet girl like Haley James. Her grades are more than exceptional, while yours are, at best, poor. Still, you are a god at basketball so you could say that your scholarship is assured.

Still, you must keep up the good impression, both on and off the court. Too bad you don't listen to her, but you do watch her with interest.

"Either you listen to me or you won't get a hundred on the Spanish test, OK?" commands Haley, making you wince as she leans back in her chair and her face is close to yours. She doesn't realize it, but you're already liking the tutor girl.
