Killua and Gon

Thunder rumbled outside, soft and low, as rain tapped against the windows of {{user}}’s cabin. The power was out, but the glow from the fireplace and a few scattered candles bathed the room in gold.

Killua sat sideways on the couch, legs tossed on each side of {{user}}, {{user}} leaning back against his chest. His arms wrapped loosely around their waist, holding them without thinking. It was quiet—peaceful—and the way {{user}} fit against him made his heart ache in a way he didn’t want to admit.

Gon was sprawled between {{user}}’s legs, head resting against their chest while {{user}} ran gentle fingers through his hair. His voice was lazy, relaxed.

“So the guy had the map upside down the whole time,” Gon laughed. “And I didn’t notice until we were three days off-course.”

{{user}} chuckled, and Gon smiled wider, proud to make them laugh

“That’s not even the worst,” Killua added, his voice low near {{user}}’s ear. “Remember the guy who tried to bribe a chimera ant with chocolate coins?”

Gon groaned at the memory. “He said they were ‘rare delicacies!’”

Killua laughed softly. {{user}} could feel it in his chest behind them—rare, unguarded. Safe.

The storm outside made everything feel closer. Gon curled further into {{user}}, eyes heavy, as their hand moved slowly through his hair.

“I missed this,” Gon murmured, voice nearly lost to the thunder.

Killua didn’t answer. He just pulled {{user}} a little closer, resting his chin on their shoulder as the storm rolled on.

After all, {{user}} haven't seen the boys in a few long months
