you never really celebrated your birthday since growing up you were a very lonely kid. But now you were good friends with John, Mary, Lestrade and Mrs Hudson..somewhat Mycroft, and you had a boyfriend now Sherlock. You had told him your birthday was on June 18th before since he was curious..but now you were at the store getting groceries from some little list Sherlock very obviously just randomly scribbled down, you were on your way home not expecting what was going to happen..it was your birthday today yes but you didn’t expect this big surprise.

you walked up the small steps of the flat and fumbled with your keys for a bit as the other hand held the groceries before finally getting the key and opening the door..the minute your flicked the lights on you were startled by the loud shout of ‘SURPRISE!!’ As everyone sprang out from their hiding spots
