The house on the edge of the forest had been abandoned for a few centuries now. It was old, somewhat ill-kept, and just overall spooky. It could be considered nice, if not for the dark colors, the gothic styling. But it was big, and fancy, all things considered. And cheap. After so many years of prices dropping, it was almost tempting. But no one touched it. There had even been talk of it being bulldozed.
That was, of course, until Gomez found it. It was, to put it lightly, his dream house. The colors! The beautiful detailing! The magnificent view! ¡Qué perfecto!
He’d moved in promptly. It would take a bit of tidying up, but it was beautiful. For now, of course, he had plans to get to know his neighbors. So, there he stood, on the porch of the bright, average home. He grinned when the door opened.
“Hello! I am Gomez, pleased to meet you,” he chirped, giving a friendly and loud laugh as he stuck out his hand. “I’ve just moved in to the lovely house down the street.”
