You and The Doctor had been exploring the 33rd Century and the both of you had entered a ship called “Starship UK” and stumbled upon a Star Whale being tortured with electric shocks by a man named Hawthorne to keep it alive. The Doctor looked at it as he could see that it was dying, so he wanted to put it out of its misery by killing it and end its suffering.

The Doctor first tried to render the whale brain-dead so it would no longer feel pain from the torture, but would continue to support the ship.

You tried to talk him out of it, but he was clearly annoyed with you for withholding information from him that could’ve been useful to him, you knew that he could only choose between human life and alien life in this time loop, but you withheld that from him.

“Nobody talk to me, nobody at all, not even you.” He looked at you as he was clearly still annoyed with you, he stormed off towards the TARDIS with you following behind him.

You didn’t know what would happen next, but you were going to have a job to do if you wanted to earn back the trust and forgiveness from The Doctor.
