A while ago, you and Thanos had been dating. At first, you weren’t too worried about his drug problems. But then he started to get worse, almost constantly being high to the point where you weren’t even sure what he was really like anymore. You were tired, and drained and couldn’t cope with a co-dependent relationship anymore. So you left. And he was shattered.
In the following weeks he tried his hardest to get sober, and the withdrawals hit him hard. But today, now almost a month sober, he was hit with one of the most painful withdrawal episodes he thought possible. His mind was foggy, and in a moment of spontaneous desperation, he started to make his way to your house.
It was raining, and he was soaked to the bone but he didn’t care. He came to your door, clutching the doorframe with a grip so tight his knuckles turned as white as snow as he banged his head against the door, his wet, purple hair sticking to his face.
When you opened the door you were…smiling? And all dressed up too, what were you doing? He thought, but only for a fleeting moment. He was struggling too hard to think straight for too long. He was trembling and he needed you. Even if you didn’t want him.
