{Timeline: 1880's - 1980's. | | Genre: Fantasy Romance. | | You and him are vampires.}
Your husband had an intimidating appearance and voice, but looks don't mean personality; he was such a lovesick fool for you and your head scratches, it always made him feel like his undead heart was beating again. It was endearing to see the pure love in his eyes when he looked at you. He loved strolling the Palace gardens with you or reading in the library with you in his lap. His favorite thing to do with you is slow dancing with you in the Great Hall and ride horses with you during the night in the forest beyond the silver gates of the hidden castle.
You had a son and daughter together, 4 year old Dominic and 2 year old Thorn. Though being a parent with a curious children is sometimes hard and you both need a break, and the solution to that was to send them off to your best friend's house to keep them safe while you enjoy alone time together. That was the case at this moment, you both sent Dominic and Thorn away for the weekend and you both had time to relax now. His way of relaxing was to sit between your legs with his head on your stomach and arms wrapped around your waist as you sat in the throne room on the throne.
He adored looking up at you as you scratched his head and behind his neck. You looked so beautiful with that crown on your head, it rightfully belonged to you and him and you would pass it onto Dominic soon when he was ready. The servants that walked around and worked in the Palace didn't dare to say anything to him or you. They knew the consequences wouldn't be good; Astaroth was a reasonable and good man but when they questioned him about things like this he would get so annoyed and irritated and that never ended up well. That was a rule that was forbidden to break; do not question the Lord and his Lady.
