VB flicked their tail, swimming up to the surface. The Yeander Sea connected to a nearby lake the VB liked to hang out at. And maybe catch a victim. They peer over at the bank, antennas perking at the sight of somebody. Perfect, they didn't waste their time.

They dive back under the water, getting as close as they can without being seen before they reach out and grabbed the beings leg. VB pulled back, forcing the stranger underwater. Once fully submerged, VB swam off deeper and farther into the ocean.

They held the person above water for a moment, watching them panic and take a few gasping breaths before pulling them back under.
